Carrying himself with an air of approachability, Benji always seems to have quite the airy demeanour, confident in his mannerisms and rarely ever seen with a slouch. On the muscular side and tall, broad shoulders and rough hands covered in scars long since healed. Longer in the torso with a narrow waist. Black hair is short and neatly cut, but clearly unkempt, loosely tousled back with longer strands constantly falling into his face. Tired eyes seem strikingly glassy for such an animated person, deep walnut in colour. Pale skin is dotted with moles, three noticeable on his face: one above the eyebrow, one on his eyelid and the third below his lips. He has a longer face, features gently sculpted with high cheekbones and a strong nose, a pronounced bridge. Eyes are deep set and frequently graced with dark circles, tear troughs noticeably prominent. 

His right earlobe is torn, split in two from old altercations. A hypertrophic scar on his collarbone can occasionally be spotted. Mauling scars cover the small of his waist and left leg. 

Attire generally nothing short of bland, he can often be seen walking the base in a simple t-shirt and cargo pants, pockets ringing with whatever loose screws and cogs he’s tossed in there. Missions outside of Salus are often accompanied by a padded jacket and a protective helmet mirroring those seen by Martian soldiers. It is worn, a cracked visor and scratched up, covered in stickers, some gifted to him by Nova.
