hOW DO I START/SUBMIT A MEMBER EVENT?

You can submit a member event by making a ticket. Here you can propose your idea to mods and we can discuss plans with you. If there are multiple people creating a member event, let us know and we can add them to the ticket as well!

hOW DO I START/SUBMIT A MEMBER EVENT?

For a member event to be approved, we require a proposal that at least consists of your plans and ideas for the event. This does not have to be extensively detailed, however as we move closer to the event we will request to see more detailed plans and be informed of any changes/additions to your idea. We have put together a template of items we need in advance for your event to be approved:

Timeslot: [The desired timeslot for your event]

Content tags: [Ex: Rescue mission, mechanics focused]

Tone of event: [Ex: Lighthearted / Drama heavy / Serious]

Summary: [Short summary of your event]

Once you have this, we can nail down your desired timeslot. We ask that you also communicate any planning for plot, mechanics etc with us in a timely manner.

[ Please note that any significant changes to the event plans on the week of the event may lead to event cancellation/postponement and you may have to reschedule your event for a future slot.

Examples include: The focus of the event, major plot changes, significant changes to mechanics. ]

Previously slots had been split into two 15 day slots per month commencing the first, commencing November 20th slots will run on a biweekly basis. The reason we’re switching to this system is to ensure that the hosts get a fair chance to utilise the weekends which tend to be the prime-time for RPs.

Below shows the slot from November 20th up to January to clarify. Green and Purple are different timeslots.

What ocs can be used for a member event?

Member event creators can allow both NPCs and MCs if they wish, or just MC’s as long as they make it known in the announcement for the event.

Do member events have to fit the timeline?

No, member events can run on fluid time or current, though it is heavily suggested that the timeline it takes place is mentioned if running on fluid time.

Do events have to take place in the server?

No, while event planners have the opportunity to host their member event within the server in a category, channels, and roles created by the moderation team for them, they also have the option to host their member event within their own created servers. Please understand though, we cannot moderate what happens there, so it is up to the event creators to oversee their server. If an issue arises though, we can discuss what can be done about it in a ticket.

what happens when my event is done?
