SUMMARY:
 

During a certain time of year, the barren jagged wastelands surrounding Salus are known to grow a blossom or two. This rare appearance of flora offered a small bout of color for those lucky enough to witness it. There was a time as well that even a bushel or two of these vibrant flowers could be found scattered amongst the rocky plains , but as of recent years it was as if the earth itself had forgotten its sandy canvas. 

But this year... This year was different. 

The rains have come to pass, and you find your way above ground, for whatever purpose. And what meets your adjusting gaze is nothing less than a visual symphony of blooming florals stretching for miles and miles. What once was a mix of grit and sand now intertwines with bushels and bouquets of whites, yellows, purples, and pinks framed by a lush carpet of greens and blue hues. The sun, once seeming to punish life under its harsh rays now illuminates the vast sea of color that surrounds your home. Perhaps this was a reward for Salus' survival of another tremendously difficult year. And perhaps, it was also living proof that Nature, even with all its ruptured strife, is finding a way to adapt and overcome not just despite us, but alongside us.
 

OUTCOMES:
Many people enjoyed the spring bloom, and many fell into cacti.
